Amy Webb: “How I Hacked Online Dating Sites”
Author and electronic strategist Amy Webb delivered a TED Talk which has been certainly one of my favorites for the long time. It can take a little bit of description it’s so effective before I delve into why.
After many years of being unsure and single on how to get the guy on her behalf, Webb decided to decide to try internet dating. In a way that, while true to her nerdy personality, was not necessarily attractive to the kinds of men who would treat her well on dates on her profile she posted photos of herself that weren’t particularly flattering, and described herself. Webb tried this away for a months that are few and after a few failed times, she made a decision to switch things up. She listed every one of the plain things she found most significant in a guy and arranged them into tiers centered on importance; this allowed her to easily examine the males who messaged her according to if they came across her demands, which all had point values attached.
